The Records Management Department serves as the hub of inactive former and past students and employees records for Port Arthur ISD. Records Management strives to provide excellent customer service to campuses, departments and the community by providing efficient and timely service. We are located behind the Thomas Jefferson Middle School main building.
Records Management is responsible for converting paper documents to digital format, retrieving of records, verification of education and disposal of records in accordance with state and federal laws.
Records of current students and graduates within one academic year are located at the campus. Please contact the campus for assistance.
Records of students stored on microfilm during certain years (ex. Thomas Jefferson 1971-1975) are not available; however, we do have secure means of verifying completion of graduation or enrollment. Therefore, we will provide letters in lieu of transcripts verifying graduation or enrollment. Records will not be released to anyone other than the student without written consent, as mandated by the Family Rights and Privacy Act.
Please allow 48 hours to process transcript request. Former and past employees must contact Human Resources for records.
