Mr. Kenneth W. Lofton » Bio


Kenneth W. Lofton Sr. was first elected to the Port Arthur ISD Board of Trustees in 2007. At the time, he was the youngest person ever elected to serve on the board. He is a 1990 graduate of Port Arthur’s Lincoln High School. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army and attended Lamar University.

Trustee Lofton is a process operator for Motiva Enterprises. He previously worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 18 years. Mr. Lofton attends Eastern Star Baptist Church. He is active with the MISTERS Social and Civic Club, the Port Arthur Elementary Basketball League and the Port Arthur Titan Youth Football Organization. His wife, Gina Duhon Lofton, is a teacher/Tech Specialist at Travis Elementary. They are the parents of three wonderful children, Geremiah, Kennedi and Kenneth Jr. Mr. Lofton’s hobbies include volunteering, reading and sports car collecting.
