We pledge our Loyalty to thee
Time will pass and we will know
    How much we love Me-mo-ri-al

  • Attention! Attention! Calling all Travis Elementary School and Port Arthur ISD Alumni!

As you may already know, the new William B. Travis Elementary School is undergoing construction next door to the current building on Lake View Avenue.

Once the new building gets closer to completion, a mural composed of thousands of small photos will be placed in the main corridor. This is where we need YOUR help! To complete the mural, we need photos from Travis and Port Arthur ISD alumni depicting our culture, history, students, and staff. Don't be afraid to represent your Memorial, Lincoln, TJ, or SFA pride! We want this mural to represent our city and school district, past and present. At this time, we are having difficulty finding photos to represent the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's generations, so if you were a PAISD student during that time, please spread the word.

If you'd like to help us with this endeavor, please send scanned or digital photos to paisdtravis@gmail.com. We ask that photos are cropped so that there is no "slug" area. As always, thank you for supporting our school and district.
