Stilwell Technical Center offers experience and training for a lifetime to 11th and 12 grade students who attend Memorial High School. Real life training is offered in Office Technology, Health Science, Mechanical and Technical fields. 

 

Students remain on our campus for three hours in either the morning or afternoon and have a choice of 12 different fields of career training.

 

Tech Prep agreements are available with the Lamar University Systems in Business, Health Science, Cisco Internetworking, Criminal Justice, Machine Shop, Welding and Engineering Computer Aided Drafting.

2009 Thanksgiving Luncheon - Administration Building

The district provides transportation to and from Stilwell as well as to and  from the academic high school in Port Arthur. For those students electing to drive their vehicles, parking is provided. 

 

Scheduled tours and transportation are provided for tenth grade students on designated dates.

 

Our student organizations include Business Professionals, Health Occupations Students of America, Future Homemakers of America and Vocational Industrial Clubs of America. We have had regional, state, and national winners. 

 

Students leave Stilwell both competent and confident of doing a quality job in entry-level positions.
