    The students featured are members of Mr. Sakombi's French Class. The students participated in the Eighth Annual Lamar University Modern Language Competition on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Lamar University.

    This competition is an event that encourages students in continuing their modern languages studies in French, German, and Spanish. Scholarships will be offered to seniors to further their education.
