Reading Coach

My Job responsibilities as a Reading Coach include the following:

à Working closely with K-3rd classroom teachers by mentoring and assisting them in implementing research based instructional strategies in the core reading program.

à Assist teachers with assessing students reading skills.

à Collect and interpret data with teachers.

à Meet with parents to explain and recommend reading activities for their children to practice at home.

I believe that the greatest gift to the teaching profession is seeing our students succeed  and knowing that we were a part of that success.
