ORDER OF OPERATIONS DAY

On October 29, 2008 lead by Chief of Staff, Principal Barbara Polk, students were welcomed to the newly formed Thomas Edison Medical/Learning Center of Southeast Texas. 

That's right it was "Order of Operations Day" at Edison Middle School.  Faculty and staff were dressed in scrubs and had their "operating rooms" ready for their "patients" who were just "sick" and "tired" of making bad grades in their math classes.  "Patients" were able to tell the medical staff what types of problems they were having for a special cure. 

Special attention was paid to operations, "Order of Operations" that is.  Before we knew it patients were back to their old selves again:  Listening, learning, and making better grades.
