It has always been and will continue to be a high priority to keep employees, staff and students in our district under a safe working environment.

Awareness

First of all the safety department would like to thank the employee's who have contacted their supervisors concerning safety issues they have come across in their building. Since you are in your building day after day, nobody knows your building as well as you.

During your routine duties throughout your day, please continue to practice safety awareness. Become aware of the surroundings in your particular areas. For example if walking along and you spot some sort of spill on the floor, take time to wipe it up or immediately or contact your custodian of the situation. The same goes if you come across a tripping hazard report it at once. you may be the one, as they say, to" dodge the bullet" from having an accident. Also by tending to the safety issue you may be the observant employee in preventing the next person that comes along from possibly a serious accident or injury.

“Keep up the good work”

We surely don't want to have an accident or see your co-workers have an accident especially when it possibly could have been prevented from the start.

As we are heading towards the last few weeks of the school year, keep in mind that being aware doesn't just pertain to the work place. It is just as important to practice safety awareness at home also.
