career in schools in Texas, Ohio and Alabama and Georgia. He began his career as
a life science and physical education teacher and coach in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Brown is humbled and
honored by the many years of opportunities to serve and support the children
and, therefore, the communities in which he and his family have lived. He has
consistently provided positive and effective leadership for increases in
achievement and test scores, raising standards, building new schools and
renovating others, strengthening fiscal stability, focusing on excellence and
equity for all, and forging partnerships for all concerned with the children and
their welfare.
Dr. Brown is a dedicated leader
who has great plans for Port Arthur. He realizes that Port Arthur is at the
beginning of tremendous growth, and it is his commitment to have Memorial High
School graduates prepared to enter college or the work-force and be successful
at whatever they pursue. |
