What is the purpose of the Leadership Academy?

To grow knowledgeable, effective, and technological proficient instructional school leaders to serve within the PAISD

Who may apply?

Teachers and administrators currently employed by PAISD. You may obtain an application by clicking this link.

How many participants will be selected?

The second cohort of the PAISD Leadership Academy will include 20 candidates

When will the Leadership Academy Begin and end?

The Leadership Academy will meet on the First Monday of each Month or the second Monday if the first Monday is a holiday at from 4 to 6 p.m.  

What will participants selected do?

Participants selected will be required to do the following:

A.    Participate in Leadership Development

B.    Conduct Book Studies

C.    Complete School Visits

D.    Engage in District Problem Solving

E.      Attend Leadership and Board Meetings as Determined by the Superintendent

F.     Share knowledge of best practices in using technology to improve student learning

G.    Share knowledge in using technology to improve school leadership and efficiency

H.    Conduct district-wide professional learning

I.       Maintain a reflection journal

J.      Create a portfolio of documenting Leadership Academy learning and experiences
